Exactly.  And he's got a history of some other very tough clutch catches.  Goes a LONG way to explaining why he keeps sticking around and our FO keeps him on speed dial even after he's been cut a few times.

But the more and more he makes a crucial or big catch the more I think he deserves a roster spot.

I'm just starting to get that Ricky Proehl feel to him.  Not a great athlete, but solid route runner and hands and gets the job done.  A very solid #3-4 guy

He's not a starter, he's not a star, he likely wouldn't be on any other teams roster, but every team has 1 or 2 of those...all he does is what's asked of him, and it's obvious that Cam isn't scared to go to him for a much needed catch.

Bersin has a total of like three routes that he can pull off reliably but they're money. I swear he's caught a couple of 3rd down conversions in that exact spot over the years.
