Everyone who didn't believe and were "realistic" about the Panthers come get your crow here. Snake? Fox?

Glad you're more worried about people eating crow. Then worrying about the Panthers letting the Vikings back into the game.

His fanship doesn't really give him the ability to hire and fire coaching staff so being pissed off after beating one of the best teams in the NFC is pretty damn pointless. Unless you just enjoy being miserable all the time for no damn reason.

I hear you

And we've blown some games in the past so I get where you're coming from.

But as much as people complain about prevent defense every coach is going to do it so whether you fire Ron Rivera or not the next coach when you're up by double digits halfway through the 4th quarter is going to play some prevent defense

We can at least wait until closer to the end of the game to do that!

Yeah.  True.

I'm not going to put up a long and hard defense for the prevent defense LMAO

I know, I don't like it. I honestly bet the players don't like it either....you wanna finish and play how you play the whole time. In basketball we would go into zone sometimes after playing man when we had a lead and we all hated it. Not a good comparison but our HS football team didn't do the prevent stuff and it's a different game altogether anyway.

There is a difference between predicting the 19-0 and winning the Super Bowl every year and being defeatist wusses you're more concerned about Ron Rivera and Mike Shula's job security then winning games getting in the playoffs.

No. I am more concerned about the ultimate goal of any organization: Hoisting the Lombardi. You are fine with just making the playoffs every year. That's not my goal. And this team will never win the SB with Shula calling the plays on offense unless Cam ignores him in any critical situation.

It's not that Shula is always horrible as a playcaller. It's because, when the game is on the line, Shula will make the wrong call 90% of the time. And the game will be on the line multiple times in a SB run, teams are too good for us to blow everyone out and thus we don't have that situation occur.

So I want what is best for the team in the long run- Mike Shula having the door slammed in his face- and you're okay with short term, temporary winstreaks that get us into the playoffs and then we lose every year.

Tell me. Who is more of a fan of the Carolina Panthers as a team, and who is more of a fan of Mike fuging Shula?

I despise people like you who think people aren't real fans because we predict us to lose. I have been a fan of this team since their inception. I sat through a 1-15 season and then a 2-14 season with Jimmy Clausen at the helm. I know an inept QB when I see one and Cam is not one. So it becomes all the more infuriating when its coaching that is holding this team back, as is the case now.

I reiterate: Go eat a dick.

Because you're being a condescending asshole about it for fans who didn't think we were going to win.

Do they call you out when we lose? Of course not.

Go eat a dick.

and you all have been condenscending assholes towards the people who said we had a chance.

you go eat a dick dirtbag.

No.  Maybe I wasn't clear.  Real fans don't look at an 8-4 and now 9-4 team and talk about how terrible they are and how bad the season has been

Remember....these were guys tell me Thursday that Vikings "mopping the floor with us" was "realistic"

Except in reality when it was actually the other way around most of the game

They may be real fans but they have mental issues.

I despise fans that are more invested and worried about Mike Shula then whether we win or lose.  We are already a couple plays away from winning a Superbowl and we went 15 and 1.

And then seem to be more mad about winning because that means Ron Rivera or Mike Shula might keep their job instead of being 9-4 and possibly headed to the playoffs and a chance to win the Super Bowl

Short memory much?   The first step to winning the Super Bowl is getting to the playoffs so don't be a dimwit and you don't have to tell me to go eat a dick to get your point across

I have defended Shula on this board for a long time.  Not because I think he is the best coordinator in the league. It's mainly for the irrational hating of everything Shula that goes on around here.

Then people like you talk about how Cam is "held back " by the incompetence of Shula.  People like you are more of a fan of Cam Newton than the Carolina Panthers.  It's not all Shula all the time,.... Cam misses passes all the time.   He is streaky as poo.  Sometimes he can go an entire game throwing pin point passes, then the next he can't do anything.  Now this year, it has probably been physical limitations, but if you would watch the game objectively you can see the plays we as a team leave on the field and it has nothing to do with Shula.

How many times has Cam taken a sack when he should have thrown the ball away. How many times does he drop back 10 yards (they mentioned it on tv today) when he should drop back 7.  This is actually what killed us in the SB btw... Remmers against Von Miller and Cam dropping 2 deep. How many times has he thrown over the head of a receiver that was wide open? How many deep throws Cam has made that aren't even close to the WR this year?

How many times does Kalil get beaten like a drum?(not as bad these last 4 weeks compared to first 4).  How many big completions have WR's dropped? see Russell Shepard.  How many times do our WR's run poor routes short of the first down? All of em , all the time.

It's a team game with many moving parts.  All you numpties say all the time.. Oh it's Shula .. yada yada.   Same people at the beginning of the year talking about Andy Reid.  First four games Andy Reid is a genius and 1000 times smarter than Shula.  Now KC went 4 games without scoring and hadn't scored until Andy Reid gave up play calling duties 2 weeks ago.

Saying our offense may be too complicated?  Can be argued.  However most of our mistakes are because we don't execute properly.  We can't even run a pick play effectively most of the time.  Our combination blocks are atrocious.  Our scramble plays are horrible considering how mobile Cam is.   But most of you just say Shula sucks to just say it.  We are 9-4 and just beat one of the 2 best teams in the NFC.  We have played probably 2 well executed offensive game the entire year.   When we play well offensively, it's because of Cam, when we play bad it's because of Shula?  People are clueless.

I fugging hate Mike Shula and have wanted him out of this organization since he got here. He is a terrible offensive coordinator. That being said I just want to win, if it's with or without him I don't care. I just think if we get a real OC then we'd have a crapload better chance to win every year than we do now. But I will never want us to have a losing season just to see him get the axe.
