Hey Board,

Just wanted to say hello and best wishes. Hoping for a clean, safe game on Sunday. Not here to talk too much trash, just that I hope we beat you guys but I can see the game going either way. When Cam is on, he's unbeatable. Truthfully, Vikes have been solid but not dominant in most of our wins this season. If a Vikings fan guarantee that we win any game, you should ignore them.

Anyone care to give me some insight into your team this season. How has the Dline responded to the suspension of one of its best? Is Luke and Davis playing up to snuff? Have you guys finally replace Norman (I know some of your young guys looked promising last season)?

Short and quick answer to the bold: no.

Its kind of funny but if you look back at the last three meetings with the Vikings it was either right around the start of a up or down streak.  In 2013 we beat them and proceeded to finish the year 11-1.  In 2014 they beat us and we proceeded to go a combined 23-4 up to the Vikings game in 2016.  We lost that game and proceeded to finish 6-10.

In other words, we held Kamara well below his season average?

Allowing ANY back 6+ ypc is unacceptable for a defense that was once ranked #1 in the league a few weeks ago. Y’all can settle for mediocrity but i won’t.

from what i see, i think it's a confidence issue with matt kalil. he's making mental mistakes consistently and seems unsure on what to do in certain situations. lacks instinct and trust in his abilities, which he most certainly has.

some games, he'll be great and flash the good quality traits he most definitely has in him. others, he makes mental errors you'd hope were fixed by week 4 all over again.

if he ever gets over his confidence issues and starts trusting he knows what to do without the flip-ups, he'd easily be a franchise LT for this team imo. sad to say he's not getting there so far.

He usually does it vs trash Defensive Ends when he plays well.  That's your only issue.  Cam Jordan was not trash.

Hahaha yea right buddy, we don’t fall for that reverse psychology around here.

We give you the info and “somehow” your team has the inside scoop on our DLine. No thanks pal but good try.

Welcome to the board otherwise.

Yes, because what could possibly be a better source for accurate information on the Panthers than this board...

Welcome to the Huddle Vikesfan. Nice to have an opposing team' fan's view from someone that isn't a troll.

Enjoy beating our ass.  I hate you, and fug you.  Sorry, I'm just getting myself prepared for this ass whipping you guys are going to put on us.  Leave me alone.  :crying:

Lol. You guys really don't know how lucky you guys are. Vikes fans think this game us going to go down to the wire.

Thank you. I know the Saints Louis hurt but I don't understand the pessimism on this board. You guys have won 8 games in the toughest division in football this year. And there still four games left. As good as my Vikings have been we haven't reached the level of dominance that you guys have shown. A lot of our wins it's because everything went right. I feel like you guys should be giddy. You've bounced back from a poor season I'll probably going to make the playoffs and are two years removed from making the Super Bowl. You're Panthers know how to win.

    • I always get lectured every year when we inevitably win some meaningless late season games to tank our draft position that we're building culture and you always have to try to win no matter what. This is why that's bullshit. Once you're out of contention it's to your competitive advantage to LOSE.
    • You’re tripping I hear what you’re saying but you’re not thinking of the benefits that trade gives us. We can then move around in the second round or late in the first to grab a specific player we covet like M Starks late in the 1st. Let me clarify if we’re at 21 we grab W Nolen or K Grant then trade up late in the 1 or early in the second giving up next years second for M Starks or T Amos there so much that can happen with that additional ammo.  Allowing us still so much leverage in next years draft as well with two first rounders we’d be dam crazy not to take a trade like that it’s not the big haul or heavy amount of picks we’re hoping for but it’s gets us multiple players especially ones we’ve seemed to taken a liking to like Nolen etc along with the safety from SC. or even a Luther B or James P early in the second. This nice influx in talent would help way more than a player like Jalon W. because of his high bust rate or probability  to bust….you know what I mean.  We need players we all know that those extra picks allow us to give up something this year to add key pieces from the 29-40 range that we may really like and have a need for (T Amos) and it not hurt as much because we’re stacked in round one of 26. Which could also be a pick one trade one scenario next year giving us more ammo to manipulate the draft to a winning situation for us long term. Al that to say we desperately need to be actively seeking a trade because we could add real talent in multiple spots this year and next with that current trade your opposing.
    • According to their list, the top guy hasn't put out a mock yet and the 2nd guy has us trading to 4 for Carter.
