Haven't followed the Vikings too much this season, but I'm surprised with what they've been able to do considering their options at QB.

Panthers have a lot to prove even without coming off their 2nd loss to the Saints. They haven't been all that great at home this year, really need to close the season strong. If we want to win this one, Rivera is going to have to quit acting like a pussy and trust his offense.

You know that ain't gonna happen.

Last time we played you guys, Cam got hit a lot but I was really surprised that your OC didn't adjust. We saw that your offense didn't have a lot of short passes in it and as a result of hot reads, Cam was stuck holding the ball instead of dumping it off. With the addition of the Stanford guy, I expect that has changed.

I expect us to win but I wouldn't beat a $2 hoggie on it. You guys can drop 40 on anyone on any Sunday.

nope. shula doesn't adjust.

"Mike Remmers? Oh Remmers! I was wrong! Will you forgive me?"

That is all.

Remmers has taught me gratitude. $1hit can really get worse lol

The think about Kalil is that he give you hope that he is getting better. Every offseason. He was an all rookie LT and just has gone down hill.

Hey Board,

Just wanted to say hello and best wishes. Hoping for a clean, safe game on Sunday. Not here to talk too much trash, just that I hope we beat you guys but I can see the game going either way. When Cam is on, he's unbeatable. Truthfully, Vikes have been solid but not dominant in most of our wins this season. If a Vikings fan guarantee that we win any game, you should ignore them.

Anyone care to give me some insight into your team this season. How has the Dline responded to the suspension of one of its best? Is Luke and Davis playing up to snuff? Have you guys finally replace Norman (I know some of your young guys looked promising last season)?

May have to go ahead and disagree with ya there.  Cam was definitely "on" against Saints this past Sunday and we still got smoked... had one of the most accurate passing days of last several years.  Dropped balls everywhere, defenders constantly in face, poo play calling, bad clock management, etc. etc. can very easily overcome a really good Cam Newton day.

from what i see, i think it's a confidence issue with matt kalil. he's making mental mistakes consistently and seems unsure on what to do in certain situations. lacks instinct and trust in his abilities, which he most certainly has.

some games, he'll be great and flash the good quality traits he most definitely has in him. others, he makes mental errors you'd hope were fixed by week 4 all over again.

if he ever gets over his confidence issues and starts trusting he knows what to do without the flip-ups, he'd easily be a franchise LT for this team imo. sad to say he's not getting there so far.

Yet you've won 8 games

What I see in Kalil is poort foot speed. Coming out of college he was uber-athletic and struggled to keep weight on.  His rookie season looked like an All pro and someone destined to lock down the left side of our line for ages. He got injured his sophomore season and played hurt. Ever since then it has been one injury to his legs/knees after another and he continued to play through them. Last season was a hip injury and to me he was damaged goods after that. I think the injuries have taken a toll and he does a lot of reaching to overcompensate. That's why he gets beat by speed rushers and is susceptible to the power to spin move - move.

    • I always get lectured every year when we inevitably win some meaningless late season games to tank our draft position that we're building culture and you always have to try to win no matter what. This is why that's bullshit. Once you're out of contention it's to your competitive advantage to LOSE.
    • You’re tripping I hear what you’re saying but you’re not thinking of the benefits that trade gives us. We can then move around in the second round or late in the first to grab a specific player we covet like M Starks late in the 1st. Let me clarify if we’re at 21 we grab W Nolen or K Grant then trade up late in the 1 or early in the second giving up next years second for M Starks or T Amos there so much that can happen with that additional ammo.  Allowing us still so much leverage in next years draft as well with two first rounders we’d be dam crazy not to take a trade like that it’s not the big haul or heavy amount of picks we’re hoping for but it’s gets us multiple players especially ones we’ve seemed to taken a liking to like Nolen etc along with the safety from SC. or even a Luther B or James P early in the second. This nice influx in talent would help way more than a player like Jalon W. because of his high bust rate or probability  to bust….you know what I mean.  We need players we all know that those extra picks allow us to give up something this year to add key pieces from the 29-40 range that we may really like and have a need for (T Amos) and it not hurt as much because we’re stacked in round one of 26. Which could also be a pick one trade one scenario next year giving us more ammo to manipulate the draft to a winning situation for us long term. Al that to say we desperately need to be actively seeking a trade because we could add real talent in multiple spots this year and next with that current trade your opposing.
    • According to their list, the top guy hasn't put out a mock yet and the 2nd guy has us trading to 4 for Carter.
