Who's "Elite" on this team honestly

Cam is elite, and it’s not even close. He’s mvp again in my book. 

Mvp is someone that is putting a team on their back and the team would be a loser without them.

can anyone say the panthers would be 8-4 without Cam Newton?

we would probably be 4-8, honestly. 

Teams that can take a high stat guy off and replace and still win,... that’s not mvp,.. that’s the team.

My thing is if daryl williams is legit, what the hell do you do with Moton? Dude has talent , there is no way you justify keeping him in a backup role. That is a second round pick wasting away on the bench.

I don't know what's considered elite and what isn't but with my own 2 eyes looking at this defense the best players regardless of position appear to be..

1. Luke

2. Mario

3. Peppers 

Secondary has been meh all season with the corner backs being the weak spot including nickel. And on the Dline KK and Star have disappeared the last few weeks.

Peppers is a HOFer.  As of right now...he isn't elite.  You don't have to limit and spot play elite players to get good production.   That isn't a knock on him.  But elite players, can pretty much play every down of a game and be the force.....like Luke. 

Age/decline removes Davis too IMO from the elite list he once belonged on.

That's fair, but my approach was who on this roster is an elite nfl player or had been during their career.  To me their age doesn't diminish how they've dominated the game.

I think elite is being thrown around pretty loosely here. Reminds me of epic, "dude last night was so epic." But you say it so often dog, is every Friday night epic? If they are, are they really epic. I am reconsidering the term elite to maybe the top 10-15 guys in the league.

Put it in perspective from some good teams, 

Who on the Vikings is elite? Smith and Rhodes, maybe?

Saints - Kamara maybe? He sure has played that way so far.  Brees has always been elite but this year I am not so sure, he hasnt had to play elite for them to win thats for sure. Cam Jordan flirting in that territory.

Falcons - Julio

Eagles - anyone? Maybe Cox? Yea Wentz is having a great year but is he elite yet?

Patriots - Bill, Tom and maybe Gronk, who else?

Steelers - Brown and Bell.

Packers - Rodgers, anyone else?

Rams - Donald maybe Gurley?

Seahawks - I guess Russ is flirting with it

Ravens - Mosley

Panthers - No one has played at an elite level this year, and I cant count a couple great games as playing elite.
