We’re going 10-6

Seattle is handling Philly right now so you better hope for better than 10-6

Good point. The game isn’t over yet, but the Seahawks are having one of the more remarkable performances of the 2017 season. They are shutting down one of the most potent offenses in the league by limiting them to only a FG thu 3 quarters, without their Pro Bowl SS and CB.

Their offensive line is at best average but their handling arguably the best defensive front in the league.

It's easier since the lions lost and Stafford got hurt. But before today there was a scenario that if us, rams, saints, falcons, Seahawks and lions would all be 11-5 we wouldn't make it.

We still have the potential issue that all of our losses are in the NFC and that doesn't  bode well in tiebreaker scenarios

Minnesota will eat our lunch:  8-5

We will beat Green Bay regardless if Rodgers plays or not:  9-5

we will beat Tampa:  10-5

week 17 in Atlanta for the final spot

I think the West gets two in:  hawks and rams

i think the south gets two in:  saints and winner of the week 17 play in game between Atlanta and Carolina.

I will say this, if we were to lose to Green Bay after a Minnesota loss next week, you can put a fork in this season

Last week I said one of the 3 NFCS teams will go 10-6 and miss the playoffs. Saints have left that list. Division is theirs to lose. They will beat the falcons, so take the saints off that list

Almost certain Seahawks will grab that other WC spot. Their only tough game coming up is the Rams (they can beat them) and they are whooping the eagles as I write this. There is one spot left, and it is between us and the failcons. Whoever wants it more takes it...

And the Seahawks have already beat the rams once.

This is why that Chicago game was so disappointing.

We are down now, but the reality is we just don't match up well with New Orleans.  We match up better with the Vikings.  Similar offensive and defensive numbers.  I think we beat Minnesota in in a close one,  then Tampa and Green Bay.  The Falcons split with New Orleans, which means that we would have the wild card locked up when we play them.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
