Defense needs as much blame

At one point our offense had gone 3 & out on 6 of 9 possessions. How the hell is the D supposed to hold down the Saints O in that situation? This  game was lost on offense.

The first 14 point were in the first quarter almost right off the bat. 3 plays for one TD?! That's on the D.

That old ass safety got us the ball back at the 50 so we could get back into that game.

shame on Ron for going out of the first half with 2 timeouts and a minute on the clock to kill our momentum like a yellow bellied turd.

we had a good first half minus the clay fumble and the Ingram 70 yard run.

Ron killed the team.

The defense as a whole was awful...but my eyes can't stop seeing Kurt Coleman missing tackles left and right...he has been atrocious ever since Norman walked.

Yeah we could of had Malik Hooker, Jabrill Peppers, Budda Baker, Marcus Williams, or Obi Melifonwu. Instead we have a 1st rounder who can't do crap in our system. A injured 2nd rounder, and a bench sitting 3rd. Ugh I'm so mad

Where the hell have KK short and Star been? They’ve been non-existent last two games. Lack of push and inability to plug holes is killing this D. For those crying about DB play RR defense is  never a DB heavy team. It’s always mediocre talent in the secondary (other than Norman) and great pass rushers and run stoppers. They’ve lost that identity recently.

Ball skills are severely lacking with our secondary right now, particularly with the young corners. Just in this game I can think of a pick each of them should of had.  Worley dropped his and Bradberry went for the deflection instead of the pick even though he had better positioning.

The Panthers aren't getting much of a return in their investments they made on defense. I look at the Vikings defense that is littered with 1st and 2nd round draft picks holding the Falcons to 9 points on the road. While the Saints run for 140 against a front 7 with 5 first round draft picks (Star, Luke, Thomas, Shaq, and Vernon Butler). Team needs to upgrade their edge rush because Wes Horton and Charles Johnson aren't good enough. Peppers won't play forever.

The secondary is horrendous. Kurt Coleman has regressed, Captain is a non-factor, Worley and Seymour should really be 3rd and 4th in the depth charts. Bradberry is solid but he has no ball skills. Mike Adams at 37 has been the best player on the secondary.

We play way too much zone. Giving Drew Brees and Sean Payton the same looks will get you beat. How many times did I see Drew Brees throw in the spaces between the LBs and Secondary? He knows where exactly the holes are in coverage yet they don't switch it up.
