Another season of Rivera mediocrity. Probably the same in 2018

That non-call against the saints...the neutral zone infraction...was a HUGE non call that affected how the game went after that.  Can't blame Ron for that.  The Saints are a pretty good team so any little thing such as that non-call could be decisive as far as how the game goes.

Matt Kalil cost us in a couple spots today, as well as that fumble by Clay.  Sometimes things are just stacked against you.  I honestly didn't expect to win today so I'm not upset over the loss, just the way it happened.

As far as Rivera...isn't he our most winningest coach?

This is all Jerry. There's a reason we STILL have no back to back winning seasons. It's a trend. We'll have multiple mediocre seasons. Then we'll have a magical season where fans get their hopes back up thinking we turned a corner. And then we come back the following year and crumble yet again. JR does just enough to field a competent team, and then sits back while his enjoys his "family atmosphere" business.

Out of all the games to be mad at Rivera about

This isn't even close to one.

This is one time he can say we didn't execute and it actually be accurate.

Peppers dumb penalty, the fumble on the punt, the drops, the poor pass protection, the poor coverage in the secondary and missed tackles everywhere.

Play calling was. Mostly okay. A few headscracthers and just running out the clock at half was confusing,  but we had plenty of chances to win this game, with some very good playcall (Stew makes that block it's a TD to Byrd, for example.)

Secondary and WR core have to be a focus this offseason.

8-4, still number one in the wild card race, most of the other wild card threats lost this week, and we just lost to a team with one of the best offenses in the lead. We will be fine.

No, we won't. This coaching staff is inept. We may make the playoffs, but we will get blown out in the 1st game. No adjustments, no fire, no discipline.

Dave all over this team, the gift that keeps on giving.

Lets cheap Ginn who loves playing for Carolina walk,... again,.. drafts terrible mccaffrey who was a 4th rounder at best number 8, Kalil the single handed drive killer? Omg for real?

then these coaches,.. holy rotten Bat man,

and we are stuck with it all.
