Saints Fans Will Not Stop Bragging About Alvin Kamara

I think we're asking the wrong question.  Its not Kamara or CMC.  It should be Kamara or Samuel.  I was very excited about Curtis Samuel and I am sure he will be a valuable asset in future years.  But this year, I think Samuel did more damage than good, and with the injuries was just a major disappointment.

We might be taking about him too after he has a field day Sunday. Not saying he will, but with him that offense is gonna be tough to stop. Homers think the Panthers scoring 30 or more points and beat the Saints make me lol. I want the Panthers to win, but if you are open minded and realistic you  too would doubt it will happen.

What's funny is our fans are reduced to factoring in punt and kick return yards to boost CMC's numbers, but at the same time some of them want to blame Cam for his early struggles. Nevermind the fact that only 5 running backs in the league have more rushing touchdowns than our QB right now.

... I think you're taking what they are saying about Cam out of context here a bit.. They are saying Cam has missed CMC on wide open passes which you honestly can't argue which leaves a lot on the table for the kid. Heck he's had to make probably the most circus catches this season than any other player we have for the one's he has gotten. That's definitely on Cam man.

Nobody is arguing that Cam isn't a great player and gets his but this argument you're putting up is out in right field while everyone else is sitting in left.

I think that over time Cam and CMC will get better together and learn how to feed into one another's strengths. Cam was never really great at the short tosses to the backs but I think this will change that.

Honestly though I think Samuel would be a huge factor for us had he not been injured so much this season.. You can tell that kid has a spark to him.. Just need him to stay on the field.

I'm a CMC guy. But we didn't draft him 8th overall to force feed him with dump off passes. We drafted him to boost our run game so Cam Newton doesn't have to carry the burden. Early on he was over thinking it and going down at first contact. He's settling in. Newton isn't without his share of blame for our struggles at times, but Cam wasn't making CMC dance in the backfield or fail to make one guy miss.

Samuel has shown flashes but I'm concerned if he'll be able to finish a season healthy at this point.

You honestly think the evolution we were looking for was mainly running CMC up the gut? Coming from a team with the only legit receiving threat out of the backfield being Tolbert for the longest time?

C'mon think about it. Samuel and CMC both running backs that tear it up catching the ball out of the backfield as well as lined up outside.

I mean let's be real here, Cam missed CMC on 1 TD pass. The other times were not going to change the narrative of Kamara > CMC. CMC is a RB, Cam shouldn't be the biggest reason if he fails or not. That oline has to get better and he has to improve as a runner

Sean Payton,.... CMC is disadvantaged, as many worried about drafting him, The Shula monster doesn't know how to draw up plays for this type of player.

Kamara would suck for us too,...

it would have been better for us to draft Lattimore at 8 and Kamara.

the effect is that Kamara would have CMC production now, but Lattimore would have helped us out so much more.

If Kamara got the touches Mccaffrey got he would undoubtedly have better stats. Kamara is bigger, faster, stronger, more feel for the game, breaks more tackles, ext...

Mccaffrey is a better route runner and has better hands, that's about it, I can post gif after gif showing Kamara break numerous tackles, tackles Mccaffrey could never break.
