Saints Fans Will Not Stop Bragging About Alvin Kamara

Kamara is good, they can talk, I would.

also a perfect storm for him, Breesus, Sean Peyton, good role for him.

Had McCaffrey gone to the Saints, he would be similar, used similar and different, not exactly the same player.

imagine had we drafted Lattimore and Kamara and them CMC?

kamara would probably look like CMC right now for us, but Lattimore would have helped tremendously.

Anyone argue that?

Based on where they drafted him, they have a right to be happy, I can only wish we got the same production out of CMC

It’s skill meets system with kamara vs cmc on production.

Both are undoubtlably skilled.

Kamara benefits from a system that has allowed him to flourish and is fully utilizing him.

cmc doesn’t get nearly enough touches a game and cam is missing him on dump off passes that is leaving production yards on the field for him.

even still cmc shows he is skilled and is improving every week. Getting him more carries and more receptions only benefits the offense so hopefully they get him more involved down the stretch and into the playoffs

Sean Payton,.... CMC is disadvantaged, as many worried about drafting him, The Shula monster doesn't know how to draw up plays for this type of player.

Kamara would suck for us too,...

it would have been better for us to draft Lattimore at 8 and Kamara.

the effect is that Kamara would have CMC production now, but Lattimore would have helped us out so much more.

You can’t put it all on Shula. Cam has left a ton of plays and production on the field just simply not dumping it to cmc and letting him work.

Its also not shulas fault the injuries to the oline early in the season. The run blocking was piss poor

Cam has been hit and miss at times but blaming him for CMC's lack of production is ludicrous. The dude has led or been close to leading the team in rushing all season except for 2 or 3 games.

Check out the top 30 rushers of 2017 and tell me what you see.

Stewart is 25th in the league, Cam Newton is 29th, and CMC didn't even make the list. Cam is also 6th in the league in rushing touchdowns.

But you want to scapegoat Newton? Wow.

As well they should, they killed the draft. If we had their draft we'd be a hell of a lot better ourselves. T, RB, CB all of which are better than starters we have even as rooks.

This is a good post.

Saints had their first good draft since the the marques colston draft

meanwhile the Panthers had two draft picks in the top 40 and took two running backs that weren't fournette, kamara, or hunt.

I know the cool thing is to blame Shula and/or Cam for CMC not being in the same conversation with Kamara, and they do deserve some blame, but CmC needs some of that blame as well. He’s been given opportunities, but he hasn’t made people miss as much as he had at Stanford. Also, to start the year, he was very easily taken down at contact.
