Damn Falcons look tough

contrary to popular believe, i think this defense is better than advertised. We've needed a big body in the middle so that Beason and Davis can roam around, thats the key, and they never had it. not one game this season. So now we have something to build on, everyone wants to talk about how the pass D is only good because the run D sucks, well Clinton Portis is a 1400 yard rusher, we held him to 55 yards. we are getting better on that side of the ball. im just worried about the offense.

Falcons and New Orleans are peaking right now. It remains to be seen if they can continue at this level all year.

Last year at this time Dallas was 4-1, Buffalo was 4-1, New England was 3-1, and Denver was 4-1. None of those teams made the playoffs. So don't go booking your tickets yet, there's a lot of football left to be played.

Your right there is alot of football left to play but 3 of those 4 teams you mentioned are in the AFC, a much tougher league then the NFC. The Giants, Saints, Falcons, 49ers, Vikings and Eagles will all be in the playoffs, the other NFC teams that are even close their records are just pretenders

I'd rather be struggling now and finding mistakes in our team that we can work on week to week and helping us becoming a complete team then blowing out teams early in the year and not being able to see where your weaknesses are and having them get exposed later in the year with little time to fix them..

The Falcons and the Saints are good teams now, but to be great they are going to have to find what they did wrong when it seems they are doing everything right..

The Falcons beat the Panthers by just eight and lost at New England. The Saints have played two relatively close games in recent weeks. Both, though, have shown the capacity to blow teams out with their offenses.

    • He ain't singing another 1 year $4M deal. He needed to get out of here to show what he could do and he has. Now clue about the Commander's cap situation but they should lock him up.
    • Cam's been on record multiple times publically showing displeasure with many of the moves and decision made in the Tepper era starting with Matt Rhule. We all knew Cam's second stint was a PR stunt during a lost season to help drive some fan excitement. But Cam has stated that he was set up for failure by Tepper/Rhule when he was starting just a week after resigning w/o knowing any of the playbook. Then Joe Brady was fired midseason just as they were game planning over the bye week. Plus Sam Darnold's beef/jealousy when Cam was resigned. Cam has also stated how Tepper/front office/and coaching staff has failed regarding the development of Bryce Young. Cam has also directly said he wanted to be Panther's president in order to help with marketing and driving fan's interest which Tepper has likely ignored.  We all know that Tepper is the petty type specifically buying his former boss's house and demolishing it afterwards, having beef with reporters, throwing drinks at fans, etc.
    • Could not agree more, he has the frame to add LB bulk. His biggest strength is playing near the LOS, great pursuit and closing speed. Man, it pains me that we let him go entering his prime, he signed a 1 year 4 mill contract. Ian Thomas, Shy Tuttle, Ashawn Robinson, Miles Sanders,  Josh Yijiam, etc so many over paid players and we don’t pay young talent.
