What does this win mean?

It means we have a bit more confidence going into the Buffalo game. A win there gives us a little more confidence for the Tampa game. If we can get those two and head to Arizona on 3 game winning streak and feeling good about the rebound, well.... That will become a very pivotal game IMO. In that scenario I can really imagine the Panthers wanting to make a statement against the very team that started this slide in January.

I know this is looking foward quite a ways, but it's a quite realistic expectation. If that played out and we managed to win in Arizona to take the streak to 4 games it could be game on.

We play Tampa this weekend, and Buffalo the following weekend.

Im thankful for the win. But to put it in perspective it was at home against a team which is arguably one of the worst in the NFL this year. And we beat them by only 3 points. Delhomme continues to be sporadic with poorly timed and inaccurate throwss as often as decent ones - every time he throws one up I hold my breath. Our running game has been poor to mediocre at best this year, and is supposed to be our strength- if we dont have it what do we have? De Angelos hands of gold are turning into rocks. Stewart- well who knows when hes going to go down with something for the rest of the season. I expect him to miss one or two days of practice again this week. Peppers had a decent game yesterday, but I dont see his enthusiasm lasting given his history of malaise here. And do you think a pep talk from Beason will do any good a 2nd time? Our special teams had some breaks yesterday -but the fumbleitis on punt and kickoff returns is a disaster waiting to cause our self destruction against better teams.

All in all Im not getting my hopes set too high for much more than 4 wins this year.

Don't be so down about it. Really, the run game is all that's lacking now. Actually, it's not even the RB's that are the problem; it's the offensive line as witnessed by some horrible pass protection as well as run blocking.

It means we no longer are the Lions 0f 2009 nothing more. We will probably win the next 2 to make everyone (Media and Fans) start drinking there coolade then when they start up against the tough schedule they will start getting those L's like crazy. I have no faith in this FO anymore.

No, dude, no. Just... no. I'm pretty sure you aren't even a die-hard fan of the Panthers. What are oyu even doing here? The team is not really that much different than it was last year.

It means we have a VERY GOOD shot at being 3-3 heading into Arizona.

Three wins no matter who they are against can swing morale just as much as losing 3 strait games. We do still have the same team as last year and there is a posibility we can regain the posture of last years team. I admit we did not look pretty on offense yesterday, and no we would have not beaten a better team . With that being said a win is a win and its something to build on.
