In a defensive heavy draft teams that went offense are paying the price. Whereas defensive picks are playing crazy good.

Aren't 3 of our top 5 picks from this past draft on IR? Makes it kinda hard to grade the draft. I've been on Run CMC's hype train from the beginning. He was the only guy I wanted at 8. I felt he was the piece we needed to force the offense to get better. Still not sure I'm right about that but he has been fun to watch for the most part. It just always feels like he's about to break one. Meh. We're 8-3 and have the Saints. Let's kill it.

In hindsight, I'd go Lattimore in the first and Mixon in the second (both were available at 8 and 40). I actually had this as one of my numerous scenario's heading into draft day. I also expected Worley to improve more this season than he has, so I got all aboard the CMC train in my final mock draft. He has not disappointed, and I think he keeps getting better as we figure out how to actually use him.
