Last Sunday you saw a team win with heart not stats. It's the kind of win we should be inspired by and should therefore be seen as a breakthrough. They're all of a sudden a better team than in the first half of the season. They've morphed into a team you can believe in all of a sudden....and if Greg comes back?!? Oooooo weee mayne!

12-4

It's a week-to-week league so it hardly matters who is playing better. But I understand where non-Panther fans believe we can lose to the Vikes, Saints and Falcons, who I even believe are playing better(not that it matters) than us. And for the reference, I have not said anything about OMG we barely won stuff like you made it seem. I like when we can look at a win and find things to improve on. But I am also very wary of our secondary and wont let my Panthers glasses cloud that up either, all three of those teams can throw the ball and have receivers that can give us fits if we dont put immediate pressure on their QBs.

I think it's a fair point about some aspects of our secondary.  It'll be nice to have Captain back for NO but especially Minn.  It's hard to know with the Falcons...we did beat them.  They had a tough but very close win against Seattle(who had a decimated secondary), and they beat but didn't blow out Tampa....so it's hard to know.

I believe if we somehow go into New Orleans and pull off a upset win, we run the table.

Possibly. If we beat the saints I definitely see us beating ATL GB and TB. Vikings are a really good team. Even at home it will be a tough one. This game and the Vikings game are coin flips imo

if Cam's thumb is healthy there is no reason we can't go 2-3 at minimum in those games

Remember, Rivera's teams (despite their many many flaws) always play good in December.

Jets are much better than people give them credit for, they should have beat the pats, and we always look like poo after the bye.

I'm not worried. Said it before the season, and I'll continue to say it. We're the team to beat this year.

We dont play Seattle so that has nothing to do with any of the teams we are playing.

IF? I mean if you want to IF it, IF Julio comes down with an easy catch we are probably only 7-4 and a much bigger hill to climb. Another problem with your worthless IF's, is that Cam's thumb IS sprained and probably effected his throws. IF Cam hits his throws most games we probably would be 10-1 right now but that is never going to be the case guy.

We can be scary IF a lot of things happen. Realistically we could go 2-3 these last 5 games and be 10-6. Hopefully we go 5-0 but I'm not expecting it.

OH man here we go.... speculation.... The julio jones drop was not the last play of the game.... IF he catches that ball doesn't = panthers lose. Still plenty of football left in that game.

Honestly, if we just look at what the team has done this year - we can conclude that outside of the Eagles, the #2 spot is wide open for all these teams. Look at all of their remaining schedules, no one has an easy ride into the playoffs.

You are right we don't need to operate off of the "Ifs" but we do need to at least use the sample size we have over the last 4 games to understand that this team has found ways to win. Also, outside of the Eagles.... over the last three weeks all of those teams have lost except for the.........CAROLINA PANTHERS. We should run with that, instead of picking apart our team.... we should honestly pick apart the other teams.

Saints- without their corners are vulnerable against the deep ball (hurt o-line)

Vikings- weak against TEs - mundane running game (hurt o-line)

Rams- middle of the road run defense - slow linebackers

Seahawks - INJURED AF

Falcons - 28-3 (But seriously probably the biggest to fear out of all the teams)

Packers- If the packers lose one more game, what incentive do they have playing rodgers? Also, that Defense is horrendous #capersout

12-4. We lose to ATL.
