I can criticize him. Being a pretty provocative runner in my own day, he should have taken it outside.

No issue with this play in the slightest; but, I do agree with the notion that CMC doesn't seem to trust his speed in the NFL quite yet. His forte is clearly quickness and probably not so much straight-line speed but I think he will learn to trust his speed a little more with experience.
