I don't know if I'd call their overall play great. I'd say they did a good job of containment yesterday, but there were a few reasons why:

1. Baker finally kicked high enough to stop outkicking his coverage. For some reason, he's been booting em with distance, instead of hang time, making it harder for the rest of the kickoff unit to be in place to make the stops. He had perfect hang time yesterday, absolutely perfect.

2. They finally settled on a good returner imo. Moore looked very sharp and confident as the KR/PR, and I hope this trend continues to see him in there on every ST play. Much as I love Stewie, please don't ever make him return again. I hope Capt. gets a lotta reps this week too. He needs the practice.

Overall though, I was happy with ST play yesterday. Still not going to give Crossman a pass though, and to be honest, I don't think I ever will. Guess it's too many years of watching his squads look like burnt toast, but they did play well.

There was some improvement, for sure, but there's still work to be done. I do believe it was Moore's return that sparked the comeback.
