CMC cut inside again for no reason; cost the team 4 points early

This dude averaged over 8 yards per carry today and stew averaged under 2 yards per carry , and cam had 3 something. Caught everything he could with Cam throwing wild passes all game long. McCaffrey did his job today.

40 yards on 1 carry

22 on the other 6.

Stewart busts that 40 yard run too.

The OP isn't wrong and its been a trend of CMCs in the open field all year. The kid has good vision at the line but in the open field it breaks down for some reason. Maybe he's just terrible at judging pursuit angles?

I like the kid overall however, unlike Fiz. I think hes being missutilized to a large degree, but I think he has high ceiling potential overall.

Humorous to see the usual "positive opinions only!!!!" Crowd have a fuging meltdown over an opinion they don't agree with as always.

I just really wonder how he'd do with a high volume of carries like 25 or 30. And I'm not sure he'll ever get that here. Zeke and Bell have luxuries that they arent running back committee like most of the rest of the league. Same with Todd Gurley. Yea they are good , but they're getting twice or 3x the amount of carries mccaffrey is getting.

And also, Cam just doesn't even notice CMC half the time. I'd say for at least 70 percent of the routes McCaffrey runs he's open, but he's almost always Cam's last read or Cam just doesn't notice that he's open and tries to force something deep down the field. Cam and the coaching staff aren't letting the dude shine like he could be on the Saints or the Patriots.

It was not the point of the OP that folks are against. It was the way he did it, and the fact he is a known anti CmC fan. Also, have you read his replies. He has done more attacking, than explaining. There is a definite pattern here. Plenty of us see it for what it is.

There are a bunch on here. They post something silly to get you to reply. Then when you reply, they go all nuts on you. I like to rile them up, then walk away. They quote you for hours wanting you to come back.

Lol at “rile them up”

You were an hour behind in the game day thread because you were so rattled you had to go poop on all my posts...

But by all means continue to think you’re the one “riling” us up

Dont like this logic. People say the same for Cam, take out his one good season in 2015 and what is he?

What if you take out all of Zeke or Gurleys long runs? I bet their rushing averages would tank too.

I don't ignore stuff , the fact is he broke the run and its part of his rushing statistics.

There is only 1 reason to put a post like this up. To get a reaction. Like, it is better to be abused, than ignored, type thing.

Then when folks inevitably react. You can go all bat shiit crazy on them.

These are the first replies to the thread, yeah its totally OPs fault that he responded with insults to insulting replies. You see what you want and not reality obviously. Fiz being a CMC hater does not negate the validity of the post. Debate the topic not the messenger or gtfo.

After Cam makes the correct read on the read-option, and the offensive line all make fantastic blocks opening a lane for him, CMC accepts the gift by....cutting back inside towards defenders because he still hasn't figured out he's not in the Pac 12.

bu-bu-bu the safety had the angle, the uninformed observer might insist

maye didn't have anything. he's dead to rights

playmaker extraordinaire gets himself tackled for no reason. Panthers fail to turn the run he was gifted into a TD. Luckily were bailed out by the guy that replaced him as punt returner.

We're approaching Rashard Anderson territory here.

I want to be you; “Dude sucks so much, he was a big part of the reason we won, but damn him not being perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

sadness/pissed off/fan privilege!!!!

Grrrrrrr

I certainly remember everyone making fun of that user. I almost felt bad for them. It was cruel.

    • I did.  He simply said s/he had no knowlege of it.  Said he had the injury in camp and sat for a few days--then said there was an announcement that he had foot surgery and nobody knows if it is related to the camp injury or not.  This person should know, but didn't.  The source is a journalist friend of mine but seemed a bit frustrated that the details have not been released (at least s/he did not have the details at the time).
