Outside of the stupid unnecessary roughness, he played lights out today. Big in the run game and very solid in pass rushing as well.

Hope he keeps it up.

I like Big Vern but I really hope Ron and Company aren't settled with not signing star and keeping short and vern.

 

I think they need all 3 for rotation and competition. Plus as I state in most threads about the panthers is depth. NFL players get hurt. Usually for more than just one game. We need depth that has talent. Vern has talent and isn't some middle road Gettlemen vet we plug in for our depth. Keep star and vern and short and work on a young pass rusher. If only Peppers didn't waste those Chicago and Green Bay years and was 29 years old again....
