To be fair, we're at that level where teams like the Jets are gonna bring everything they have against us, and hats off to them, they played with energy.

I give them that. They played an awful fourth quarter, but I never got the sense that they weren't trying

By contrast, the Dolphins laid down and died.

That is a myth.  We have won three in a row after the bye.  In 2015, we had our best win up to that point in the season against Seattle.  In 2016, we played probably our best game of the year against Arizona.  This year, we beat a Jets team that has actually been fairly tough at home, losing to the Pats by 7, Atl by 5, and beating everyone else at home. Points wise, we gave them their worst beating of the year at home so far.

thank you

Common denominator: Ron Rivera

Great coaches field teams that play better in the second half, not worse.

Rivera has like the 2nd or 3rd best record in the second half of the season since becoming head coach.

Good teams find ways to win, bad teams find ways to lose.

like cam said it's better to win ugly than to lose pretty!

the jets are about 5-6 plays this season from being 7-4 instead of 4-7 and are much better than their record. They played very tough at home.

in this case I'm proud of the team for fighting and the unsung heroes that stepped up to make a difference at the end.

thats why football does not belong to fantasy or stat nerds, it's a team sport with too many human elements and controlled chaos to metric everything to death.

Exactly the Panthers lit up the scoreboard throughout 2015 but when in the SB when they struggled to score points they fell apart. They can still score 30+ on teams but don't necessarily have to like they did 2 years ago to win.

Klay has had some growing pains but I like his big play potential. Not like we have a lot of options either way. Might as well keep giving him some reps.

I giggled reading this. I just pictured you almost being in pain having to type that. lol

Just want to reiterate one point.  We gave the Jets only their third loss at home.  Their first and second loss at home came from New England and Atlanta, last year's super bowl teams.   The Pats beat them by 7, the Falcons by 5.  They are a tough team at home, and we found a way to beat them.  That is all that matters.
