Not only that but, at least in practice this week, he was wearing some sort of half-glove on his throwing hand.  I don't have the telecast today, is he wearing it during the game?

I think they said he wasn't wearing it. But probably this thumb injury has to be why Cam has looked terrible passing today. He should have at least 2 ints and has been lucky.

This coaching staff is so frustrating.

We continue to blitz Mccown with no results. Just bring four and play sound zone defense. He will throw into coverage and we will get a pick.

On offense, it is mind boggling how we don’t start each drive off with an outside handoff to McCaffrey. He is clearly good for five yards and has the vision to hit the big play.

Yep. A handful of people were trying to act like the Jets were this dangerous team this week, but the numbers don't lie. The Jets aren't a good football team. This is just the Rivera-era Panthers after a bye. Howie is calling it right now.

It has nothing to do with the bye imo.

This team lacks talent and coaching at important positions. We have no secondary and we also have an OC who is holding this offense back. This team creates obstacles for itself that are very difficult to overcome

I mean back to back Cam runs from the 10 and then the 20? Jesus Christ.

I expect Cam and Greg to clean this up after halftime.

But these atrocious pass plays with no short routes need to go asap.

Missing in all this predictable hand wringing over Cam Newton by the same people that only show up after a mistake is once again our run game is flat. Other than that huge gain by CMC, we've mostly struggled getting anywhere.

Typical performance going from the Dolphins big win to looking like the Browns could beat them. They all take a week off down in Cabo?

Use Cam's thumb issue all day as an excuse if you want, but if it was hurt they wouldn't be telling him to throw it 20 times in the first half. Gimme a break.

Another horrible day of playcalling and coaching.
