Weak move by Jon Beason

Weak move by LB Jon Beason, not talking to reporters after the game.

He put himself out there Thursday during his paid appearance on WFNZ, challenging Peppers and saying he was taking his teammate out to dinner to talk about effort.

Then when it was time to address it after the game, he refused.

As much as calling out teammates on the radio rather than in person, ducking isn't something that leaders do.

Granted, Peppers didn't talk either, but that's nothing new with him. Can't remember another time Beason has.

-- For the record, WFNZ officials said Sunday night they expect Beason to be there for his weekly appearance Thursday. We'll see.

For what it's worth, Beason had the appearance of a kid who'd been called to the principal's office, and didn't want to dig himself a deeper hole by saying more.

Trust me, he's heard about this one from his superiors

Really this is a cheap shot by Gantt. What is there to say anyway? It seemed to work and the whole D was fired up. They are really making this up to be way more then it is. If I was a players I would never talk to them. Its not like back in the day when Reporters were on the side of the players.

P.S Everyone is kicking your ass right now Gantt. Even Steve Reed is bring some good reporting now.
