So uh... apparently Ted Ginn fuging Jr. has the highest catch % of all WRs in the NFL

Time to wait for someone to blame this on Cam

I think part of the blame has to fall on Cam. Because Cam throws at a lower completion % than Brees, his wide receivers tend to be more hesitant b/c they know the chances of an inaccurate pass floating their way is greater, or there's a greater likelihood of getting leveled in the middle of the field due to a pass that sails high

Cam's accuracy dictates the confidence of his wide receivers. Ginn leading the league in catch % is indicative of the more superior QB throwing to him.

Drew Brees throws soft tender butterfly pillows.

Cam throws lasers guided tomahawk missiles.

Drew Brees throws a very catchable ball.

Cam throws balls you should be able to catch.

Drew Brees throws with anticipation.

Cam throws when you are open.

Drew Brees throws like a dad in the back yard with his young kid.

Cam throws like the drunk father who blames you for not having a football career.

Eh, Ginn normally seemed to catch the bullets and tough catches in traffic when here... it was always the wide fuging open balls where he usually had to track the ball over his shoulder that he seemed to always be 50/50 (or worse) on.  Brees and Cam are obviously by far the best QBs Ginn has ever had throw him the ball, and that's reflected by him having his best seasons with those QBs, but I don't think using Cam's lasers against him is a very good argument in this specific case.  About every Ted Ginn drop I can remember during his time here is with the dude streaking across the field for a sure TD and Cam puts it on the money, dropping it into a bread basket and Ginn just flat out drops it.

I mean, Brees or no Brees, Ginn is just having one hell of an outlier season catch-wise for him.  Dude is leading the fuging NFL in catch percentage.  Ted fuging Ginn Jr.

I think you nailed it here, Cam has the luxury of waiting an extra beat to make sure you get open at the expense of a harder pass. This just happens to mismatch with Ginns skill set (while a player like Olsen has no problem).

Meh. I saw enough balls go straight through ginn's arms and hands to disagree with you
