Yes, we are.  I’m tired of this fan base always questioning our talent.  It seems every week we here the same thing here on the Huddle.  Stop freaking out and enjoy the damn ride.

Yea the Bears game was just a stinker, but other two losses being against arguably the #1 and 2 teams in the NFC while beating the Patriots, Lions and Falcons (and all in relatively convincing manners) makes me think we may very well be legit this year. Of course we gotta continue to improve and take out the Saints and Vikings, otherwise just being the 3rd or 4th best team in the NFC ain’t gonna amount to a whole lot unless we go on a lucky Giants-esque run in the playoffs (entirely possible).

I think it’s fair to say we’re in the top 1/3 of the league.  I mean only 12 teams make the playoffs and we’re right in the mix there.

I get the convincing fashion which we’ve won, our December stronghold, 2 All-Pros returning, all of that & then some.. But looking back at the 3 losses have kept me humble about the wins lately. Was really expecting a return to dominance this year, but losing the 3 the way we did is a much different fashion and has me convinced reality is real...

And fug the 1 or 2 seed, if the team is winning then we need to keep momentum. History says a cool down period is detrimental...  

I don’t know what to think.. I was super chest pounding at 2-0, then smacked back to realty by the NO game. Was excited for the Philly game, then we got owned but not hangin my head on that loss, ‘‘twas a battle. Told my Bears fan Lil Bro that I felt sorry for what was fixin to happen to him before that game, then the game happened... Yeah, not so much....

Team is built to win now, could  absolutely run the table & be playing in February.. But which team will show up? I’ll take it like I hope the team is, 1 game at a time... On to NYJ, can’t wait.....

I think its a fair ranking, our offense has been way to inconsistent to be ranked as high as those other teams

I do not know how good we actually are, but I definitely cannot think of ten teams that are clearly better.  Philly, NO are the only two for sure.  Then there are about seven or eight teams of which we are one of them.

We're at least a top 10 team. A bit surprised we're ranked around #7-8, but we've shown we're playoff material...occasionally lol

if the NFC wasn't as much of a brick shithouse as it is this year we'd be an easy top five team in the NFL

as it stands though i think the bottom half of the top ten is accurate

A top defense with a solid record at this point in the season is generally a top 10 team.  The offense is up and down, but not consistently lethargic, giving us a slight bump.  I'd say we are appropriately ranked
