What in the world is the upside of that fake? There were 4 seconds left.  The best you could hope for is to confuse them enough that you break through and get the long touchdown which is almost certainly not going to happen in any situation that's not Madden.  Am I missing something?

I realize Seattle is struggling due to injuries and needs td's, but just take the 3 and go in down 4 at the half.  Sometimes, coaches just over think things.

If Pete Carroll would stop switching same gum out that he won SB with along with gum he switches out for each season and get a new pack the Hawks may get somewhere until they are eliminated from playoff contention that is.

I completely disagree.  Atlanta is a threat in the division and the wildcard.  Seattle is only a threat in the wildcard.  And the reality is they are probably a better team than Seattle, at least right now, and probably for the rest of the season.

Pete Carroll is one of those guys who every once in a while just does something incredibly stupid. The "let's make Russell the hero" move in the Super Bowl is probably the best example of that. This might be a close second.

I'm not against being aggressive, but it only makes sense if you're also smart.

I'd add if you're gonna go for a touchdown with four seconds left from that far out, that is a damn stupid playcall to do it with.

Not a huge deal but the Falcons have 4 of their last 6 games at home.  I want them losing this one.  Seattle has a tough road left anyway and they arent impressing me.
