Y'all. Falcons schedule:

  • Buccanneers
  • Vikings
  • Saints
  • Buccaneers
  • Saints
  • Panthers

They ain't making this stretch out alive.

Vikings will give them a W and they will play the Saints hard. We just need to take care of our own business.

Yeah the Vikings would murder the Falcons. Their defense is insanely good and balanced, and their offense has some of the top receivers in the NFL right now.

I actually doubt we beat the Vikings myself.

We both play Vikings at home. I believe its an advantage for both of us. I'm still pissed we play the Saints fuging twice before ATlanta play them

Was a tough game to watch as I had no idea who to pull for.. like trying to choose between cancer and aids.  And at the end I am still pissed Birds won.

To those saying them winning was a good thing, how does that help if Seattle and Atlanta are both now 6-4?  Clearly im missing something here.

Seattle is 1 game back of us.  They are a threat to our wildcard or 1/2 spot.  Atlanta has a very tough schedule and as much as we all like to hate them, their chance of actually surviving their brutal schedule is very slim.  And, if Atlanta does survive their schedule, that means the Saints drop.  It's always best to sure up the WC spot and then work on getting a top seed.  Seattle losing helps this.

For reference, guys on ESPN said if Seattle had won, they would have 85 percent chance of getting in playoffs.  It's now at a 58 percent chance.

NFC south is going to be brutal down the stretch

we can not afford to lose the jets, packers or Bucs games.

I called the possibility of 3 NFC South teams in the playoffs in August.  I think I had Panthers at 11-5 Falcons at 10-6 and Bucs at 9-7.  Certainly didn't see the Saints playing this well..  and 11-5 might not win the division at this rate.

I really couldn't decide who to root for. But with a win Seattle would have been 7-3 so tied with us in the NFC playoff race.  In some ways it seems better for them to be at 6-4.  But I realize a lot depends on which team is more likely to fade.

In any case, for now Panthers control our own destiny. So we need to just.win.baby! And then win again.. and again.

It's weird seeing all 3 nfc south teams going to the playoffs if the season ended right now

Remember that time we won the division at 7-8-1? Yea... those days are gone.

And it's impossible for me to understand how TB can continue to have so much talent and be below average.

If we make it through our schedule and into the playoffs, we will have definitely been battle tested.
