I know the whole "you play the schedule in front of you" thing, but the Falcons have gotten ridiculously lucky the last 2 weeks playing teams decimated by injuries at key positions.

Regardless you got to respect what Atlanta has done... They certainly still have shot at playoffs.

Doesn't mean we don't, but it does put pressure on us to keep winning

The playoff race down the stretch is gonna be fuging nuts in the NFC this year. There's probably gonna be a damn good team left watching from home.

Could be, but definitely a possibility 3 teams make it..

Philly is going to win East and probably no one else makes it

Minnesota is going to win North and probably no one else makes it

I think Seattle could fall off bad given their remaining schedule and Rams win the West.

If so, both wild cards could be from the South

Ehhhh...I wouldn't go as far as to say I respect what they've done. They got a Cowboys teams missing one of the few outstanding OTs in the leagues and one of the best RBs in the game. And now a Seahawks team that has had some crazy bad injury luck. Good on them for handling business they should have handled, but it would take a seriously bad team to lose both those games. But, yes, they definitely still have a shot in the playoffs. This is going to be an interesting end to the season in this division.

New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina, Minnesota, Detroit, LA, Seattle, Philly. 8 teams....six spots

two good teams will be left at home. Looking at the schedules, I think Seattle fades. They have games against Philly, LA, Jacksonville, and Dallas. They could easily lose those four.

    • Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.
    • Except Bryce was the main reason we were in it
    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
