Damn...lost another dog

Yesterday I started getting sick...cough turned into a sore throat so I was laying around.  Did not really notice that Max was too.   He had been acting a little different the last few days, but nothing major.  Not wanting to go outside..just thought it was the  weather change.  He was still eating and playing with his fav toy.  He did not eat much yesterday.  Late last night he took a drink....walked out then back in to the room I was in....then laid down and died.

He was a sweet terrier mix...about 13 years old.

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like he passed peacefully and had a long life with someone that loved him. Lucky dog.

We it doesn't sound like she got really ill or anything which is good. My last dog eventually went with the ex and he got a disease that Scotties get a lot that paralyzed him in the course of a few days and he had to be put to sleep, he was a great dog that helped me a lot during my divorce in particular. The wheaten Scottie didn't last much longer.

You're a tremendous champion of animals and I know you're a great mom. I'm sorry for your loss, but I also know Max had a very good life with you and didn't suffer. Always celebrate the great life he enjoyed.

Sorry to hear about your loss.  It always hurts to lose a friend.  Pets are the best of our friends.  May we all pass as easily as Max.

Sorry to hear this. The corgi I got my mother in law about 8 years had to be put down yesterday too. Cancer everywhere. Not sure if I could handle one of my sweet boys leaving me.

Sorry to hear Lady P. My mom called me up last Wednesday, and I could tell she had been crying. Come to find out, my parents German Shepard of 12 years passed. 

First time, my mom said, she saw my dad cry. He loved that dog, as he'd come home from a long days work and go straight out to the porch to rough around and play with Jay. Jay was his name, as it was a tribute to my sibling who died. I remember I used to drive home from college some evenings, and Jay and my pop would be on the porch. My dad drinking his whisky and Jay at his feet. 

Losses are hard, so I say again, sorry for your loss.
