stop. there was no pressure on that play and it was a clear miscommunication between the qb and receiver.

it was absolutely not intentional grounding. don't kid yourself into that delusion.

admit you got lucky and had help from the refs. because that's exactly what happened.

I'll be completelt honest, in my years of watching football, had no idea that pressure had to be present lol. I can take that L.

Anyways, bad call. Didn't end the game though.

NFL will give an actual report, and it won't be from "sources". It was grounding. Miscommunication or not, he threw the ball in the area of no one from inside the pocket. Both receivers looked like they were blocking for a screen.

It was the right call, and didn't end regulation anyway lol. He was sacked on the next play. Give me a break with the "gift".

You got the “gift” when Gruden didn’t sneak cousins on the third and one to end the game.

actually I think it did. Next play would have probably been a run to set up the fg so there wouldn't have been a sack.

It did end the game. The redskins were in field goal range with the game tied. The worst part was the 10 second run off. Impossible to recover. They could have called a running play, spiked the ball, kicked the field goal and won the game.

Make it worse, they started the clock BEFORE the skins snapped the ball on the next play. Seriously, how many times have we seen the aints get away with wins off blatant bad officiating in the dome?

Why we need to win the division. The saints would be irrelevant in the playoffs on the road. Tough to stop in the dome

That's part of the game, boss. You got a gift when Julio dropped a ball he catches 99 out of 100 times.

No doubt about that. Enjoy the win, Brees is a stud.

I may be in the minority, but I’m glad you guys are relevant again. It’s been kind of dull around here since 2013 and it was getting kind of sad watching you guys waste a once in a generational talent in Brees.

You have to remember that "flag" took the Skins out or FG distance. Not only that but it cost 10 seconds off the clock plus the time lost for them starting the clock up before the snap, which if I recall correctly, it shouldn't have been running. If not for that lost yardage do you really think the Skins would have called the same pass play since they no longer had to get into position? They would have likely ran the ball to run the clock and then spike to stop the clock for a game winning FG attempt. So ultimately you are 50% right but also wrong. The skins had a chance to change the outcome during overtime but that stupid call from refs killed any chance of that and completely killed ALL the momentum that their offense had.

Must be nice to get the refs to cheat for you.
