Panthers Defense- observations.

[Achilles]

Well, they played tighter today than they have in the past weeks, and it showed. THey seemed to have good focus at times and the improvement in the tackling was noticable. They seem to be playing with more cohesiveness. THe D-line showed some life, but can they build off of it? Big question.

I'm not ready to pronounce the season saved, but if the D plays like that next week, we should win. If they can get a little something going, the way the D-line played today, Buffalo is next. Then...who knows...

If the offense doesn't get it together in the next 2 weeks, though, we are not going to fare well against the Cards, Saints, and Falcons.

Still, to have a realistic shot at the playoffs we need to win 6 out of the next 9. We would be 7-6 going into our game @ NE. Win 2 of the last 4 and we have an outside shot at a wild card.

Anything less and we are out.

Now its time for the o-line to step it up. D-Will, too. I thought Stewart had a nice game.

Marshal got hurt and thats why he was out. So you can keep waiting on that. He still has alot to learn. That PI call hurt us bad.
