Their offense is easily below average in every category I can find.

Sca didn't say their offense was a world beater; only that the concepts can be tricky which isn't great news if you are facing them only once. The positive side of this is it should help prepare for the Saints passing attack a bit more.

Panthers coming off a bye is already reason for concern. Couple that with the blowout win from last game, sub .500 this week and a division rival next week in the Saints, it is the perfect recipe for what you would call a let-down game.

We should win, but no one should be shocked if we dont.

Definitely not a "gimme" game by any means. Panthers are superior to the Jets in pretty much every way, and should win easily. But, this is the Carolina Panthers we're talking about, and I wouldn't be shocked to see an embarrassing, inexplicable loss.

The title says it's "so deadly"

Yeah but success = scheme + talent. You still need the personnel to execute whatever scheme you’re incorporating. You can have a scheme that somewhat mitigates a lack of talent, but it’s still going to limit your success. That’s why you look at the statistics (26th in passing yardage in the league) which is going to incorporate overall success and how effectively a scheme is being implemented.

Except, let's say you have the #3 rushing Defense. If teams can't run against you, they will try to pass against you. Which will skew your passing yards.

But then again, who knows what will happen week to week?

Oh God all I had to see was "air raid" offense and I can already tell we're gonna open up a 31-10 lead, open up that prevent defense and then look fuging lost as we hold on for dear life

Or...we can make them one dimensional, by stopping the run. Pin our ears back, and rush them into submission.

If we get out to a 31-10 lead against the Jets. Do you really think they could come back? Against our Defense?
