Serious question. What % would you give Cam to make the HOF?

(Assuming he continues to break these types of records/milestones)

I’d say:

No Super Bowl: 80%

Superb Owl: 100%

thats difficult considering we dont know how long he'll play. I'm pretty sure he'll at least have all the QB rushing related records when hes done. Passing, not so much. I'd say if he wins a Super Bowl he has a pretty good shot.

As we are right now, we're still very inconsistent franchise in terms of consecutive winning seasons and we've never won SB.  In fact, we've never even had back to back winning seasons in over 20 years of existence . So I think he needs to either spur us on to multiple winning seasons in  a row , or win a super bowl. Because right now he has 1 great MVP/SB trip  year, 1 great rookie season, but other than that he's been quite inconsistent passing and we keep having up and down seasons.

Honestly... 100% regardless

His rushing TDs are going to be so absurd for a QB, along with an MVP already, he's a shoe-in with a few more years of solid production.

Cam set 13 records as a rookie and is still breaking records, already has an MVP, soon to be 4 playoff years out of 7, 1 NFCCs and a Super Bowl appearance.

He's almost caught Jonathan Stewart and quite a few running backs in career rushing touchdowns and rushing yards, Bla bla bla

so I think he's in the HOF conversation already, probably 2nd or 3rd ballot right now.

if we get a Super Bowl and he continues on his path, plays another 5 years even then he's a for sure 1st ballot.

obviously I want him to find a Tom Brady or Brett Favre sort of longevity and have playoff games at 40,

Steve McNair, IMO, is a good measure for Cam.  I personally think it’s more of a floor or baseline for where Cam is headed but I digress.

McNair was a special player, won an MVP, 3 pro bowls, AFC Championship, SB appearance and 1 yard shy of a Lombardi.

Heres a look at Steve’s 13 year career:

Good numbers, nothing eye popping.  Decent passer rating and 200 TDs in 13 years.

Not bad right?

Here’s Cam midway thru 7:

Better TD/INT ratio, only 7,000 total yards behind, More rush yards, More Rushing TDs, only 9 total TDs behind.

Cam also has an MVP, NFC Championship, SB appearance.  But let’s see what else:

44 NFL records and achievements.

Way too much info to list here.

Cam should eclipse McNair’s career production in all stats in the next 2-3 years, barring time missed.  And that’s a modest estimate.

If Cam is on trajectory to pass McNair like he’s goin in reverse, with so many records in tow, it should be safe to say Cam will be getting a tailor made jacket he didn’t have to pay for.
