I would not do a package. I did very well on my own for SB50. Team hotel one night, two at where most owners were, and random post-game for a place to put my noggin.

With lower level game ticket, four nights hotel (only paid for two), airfare (last-minute booking fee), and one-day rental car, I may have spent $6k. The stories I could tell are priceless.

With a package, you're on their schedule and forego any room upgrades or perks.

Take me with you!

I'll only go if I get the PSL lottery tickets. The game experience was boring AF. I MAY go for the parties but not for the game. Hell, my game ticket was $3600. Not again.

I could have a hella SB party catered at my place for a fraction of that.

Oh I thought this was about your average Sunday game at BOA.

You know those people with deep pockets who leave at half with their sweater vest on texting their work wife?

Oh here is 2 tickets 175 each at the tippy top, oh yeah 500 dollar trip for some kids to spend 3 hours in Charlotte?

BOA probs.

Yeah we lucked out and got 2 tickets via the lottery, got to stay at my uncles and use his car, never get that kind of deal again. Tailgating and walking into the game with our friends was pretty amazing and surreal. The game, where we were at the top of the top of the stadium, was...a game. Walking out with people offering 20 bucks for my ticket was awful.

Good topic.

Just my 2c . It’s pricey but not out of the question for someone that really wants to go and is willing to take the time to save and plan for it.

Going the “package” route is always more expensive imo. If a person wants to put in the leg work, you can find many things much more affordable.. but you have to be on the grind and really want it.

Totally doable for most people with average incomes and above. Didn’t say easy, but doable with the proper planning and passion.

Its kind of a big deal, yet worthy of the hard work, just like any other big vacation someone dreams of.

If we go to the dance, I'll be there

Me too. I've got tons of family in MN and go there all the time so would be the easiest possible SB location for me to go to. Game ticket and plane ticket would be it and a piece of cake. Hopefully we make it and win it there.

I would have to imagine that unless one of the regional teams is in the game, ticket sales are going to be down. I'm sure the new stadium is great, but having to get through the cold and possible terrible weather of Minnesota in February is just not going to appeal to everyone like say, San Fransisco did. I wonder how the SB in Indianapolis did in terms of ticket sales compared to places like Miami or New Orleans.

Some of my friends drove to Houston in 2004, and had a place to stay - still had to get tickets from a broker but the prices were nowhere near what they are now. That was doable. I hate to say what I saw my friends pay in 16....

Sorry I couldn't get you a better price on the ticket, but I had a great time a the game.
