I am pulling against all our division opponents.  The rest of them don't matter.

Agree, pulling for the Dolphins over the Bucs too.  I want the wheels to come off in Tampa, with no hope for air now or in the foreseeable future.

Right now, sitting in the wild card spot, we need any and all teams that are chasing us for a wild card to lose.  That starts with Seattle, even if it means another potential wild card team in Atlanta winning.  Right now we have a 1.5 game advantage on Atlanta.  We only have a half game advantage on Seattle, and they own the tiebreaker.  Should they beat Atlanta Monday, we move down to the 6th playoff spot.

IMO, its just to early to start worrying about who might or might not be competition for a wild card spot.  Seattle could win against Atlanta and then lose 4 in a row.  Atlanta could go on a win streak, making them a bigger threat.  They can be a threat in both the division and the wildcard, while Seattle can only be a threat in the wc.  And the scenarios for wildcard are to varied to think about.  We just need to win while our division opponents lose.  Then we don't have to worry about it.

Pretty much this. I don't see the Saints losing much, their main contest being at LA Rams. And I think its unlikely we beat them at their place .

Why though? The Saints have been playing well the last seven games, but it’s not like they’ve been world beaters. All but two of their wins this season have come against teams that were already coming off losses (us and the Bears being the two exceptions). Not to mention, we generally play them competitively at the Superdome. We’ve won four of six games against them there since Cam joined the team.

I know they beat us (by a lot), but earlier in the season, Greg was out, KB got hurt in the first quarter, and seventeen of their points came off of drives that started on our side of the field due to bad interceptions. And Cam still hadn’t rounded into form.

We have the talent to run the table to end the season. We’re getting a chance to rest up with a bye. We have a former offensive rookie of the year and league MVP, as well as a defensive rookie of the year and NFL defensive player of the year. They’re both in their primes. And we just rushed for 495 yards over our last two games.

The Saint are playing tough enough that a win will be tough, but it’s not that unlikely. The Panthers are winning this division.
