Except this isn't the only time.

I've seen loads of other teams install new systems over the offseason and be cllicking by week four. With us it always seems like midseason at the earliest.

Shula does have his moments where his playcalls work to perfection. The problem is that multiple times a game he will pull out some gadget play like wildcat on 2nd and 10 and completely stall a drive by ending up in 3rd and long. Or the playcalling will become predictable, especially when holding a lead late in the game, and there will be no adjustments to take advantage of the looks the defense is giving us.

However I really love the PA bootleg play we run with Cam on 3rd and short where Cam has the option to scramble or pass to a TE releasing upfield. It's a perfect play for a pass/rush threat like Cam and it's money almost every time. I also like the WR reverses when we are running the no-huddle offense, though with Samuel out I'm not sure how much of it we will see (unless we line CMC at WR or run it with Byrd/Clay).

I tweet very little and if I remember correctly you don't tweet at all, but I'm sure if we put a lot of content out there, occasionally we would say something stupid too.

Overall, I think Geoff is better than most.

I like Schwartz. He's informed and he's generally pretty objective. Don't always agree with him but his opinion is usually worth considering.

I saw post on FB (I think) from Geoff.  He is very smart and give a pretty good breakdown of his subject.  He seems to be as non-biased of an analyzer unlike assholes like Heath Evans who is a Saint nuthugger.

One good offensive game against a mediocre team is a small sample size. Too soon to declare Schwartz a genius predictor.
