What stands out the most to me is that we have the #1 offense in 3rd downs gained , and the #2 offense in 1st downs gained. We've been doing outstanding at moving the chains, we just need to score touchdowns like we did in this game . Combine that with a top 5 defense  , limit turnovers, that's a recipe for success.

Not to be a downer, but we have played 1 more game than most teams at this point. Average per game stats are all we should really look at until every team has had their bye week.

The offense has looked better but the Dolphins are terrible right now.

Funny you should ask... I was looking at it a few days ago and I think it was somewhere around 24. Not 100% sure but it was in that area

Total offensive stats are misleading.  We're one of the only teams that hasn't had a bye yet.  Going by per game statistics and our offense is pretty middle of the pack.

    I agree that having an extra game for the Offense can skew the results. Making our Offense look a tad better than it probably is.

 

    However, it has the opposite effect on the Defense. Our Defense looks pretty darn good, and they have played one more game than most other teams.

 

    That extra game can inflate our Offense, but it just enforces how well our Defense is playing.
