Hurney said getting more speed would benefit the run game, looks he was right.

Not to poo on KB but dating back to 13 that makes us 29-5 without him in the regular season.

They likely offered to move KB to TE and KB refused.

Hurney's model is the Muhammad and Smitty duo with receivers who have consistent hands and fundamentals to back them up. Hurney views Funchess as his Muhammad. Now, he is looking for his new Smitty to pair with Funchess.

Hurney has always had an eye for the WR unit. He has also done very well with QB, RB, TE, OL, DE, LB, and CB units. He leaned on Minter at safety and was good at DT for years with one big whiff in the 2011 rebuild. You can not say the same for Gettleman who messed up the WR, OL (two good OG is not greater than 2 good/great OT+1 great C), DE, and CB.

The ability for most people to even forget the CBA of 2011 and the JR designed cap dump leading up to it in 2009 and 2010 is astonishing.

Eat your crow here about Hurney Trading KB to the Bills, I honestly thought Marty was out of his fuging mind.  But now the end result shows that he knew exactly what he was doing.

I for one will eat crow now, because I thought he was fuging nuts

Hurney is still a buffoon. He shouldn't be inside the building as 'interm GM' regardless if you like the KB move or not. His track record with bad contracts, bad draft trades, and cap issues speaks for itself.

KB was my fav player

but now i see why the move was made and it hurts my heart

but the 45 points alleviates that.

Same.

But it brought Bersin back which also helped me be ok with it.

Bersin is by far my favorite Huddle troll.
