Or you can know what you're watching, be excited for actual good players like Funchess shining through, and not call the 5 option on offense tonight a "driving force"

Funchess TD on the bubble screen was all CMC. Amazing play by a RB, blocking TWO defenders within the first couple seconds of the wide open path for Funchess. But yeah, you give Funchess the credit for catching the ball and running straight. Literally wouldn't have happened without CMC as Kalil didn't get to his man in time.

CMC's rushing TD was a TFL for almost every HB in the league. TD catch was pretty damn impressive. Sick third down conversion making his player miss.

The more you talk the more clear it is that you have no idea what you are watching. Maybe you just read the play-by-play and are going from there?

Dude is on the field making an impact on almost every play.

Our top 5 receivers tonight had between 3 and 5 catches with Bersin and Clay adding one catch each.   Cam is spreading the ball around and we are starting to catch our stride.  CMC is not on the field because daddy was a good player.   They know he is money with the ball.  He catches everything thrown his way and if he drops it (not too often) he takes it personally and won't miss again.

His presence is an undeniable issue for defenses.   Whether he touches the ball or not.  Teams are gearing up to make sure he doesn't beat them.   That opens everything up for other players.   Would I love to see him get more touches, you bet your ass I would.  However, as long as he is out there on the field teams have to account for him. EVERYWHERE HE GOES.

He made a couple of nice blocks and seems to be running better and better each week.   I don't know how to reply to those that think he is garbage or just a scatback.   He is a viable weapon and other teams know it.

Superstar? Not Yet, Worth the 8th pick in the draft.  Absolutely.

The best part is going to be 10 years from now when CMC is still on the team and old man Fiz gonna be still trying to convince everyone of whatever it is he's talking about.

Okay so he's Colin Jones.

I can buy that.

Again, in the Panthers 3 most productive games this year (lions, new england, dolphins) CMC has done the least. Oh he got two touchdowns inside the 5 (his first rushing touchdown actually increased his ypc lol). There's something to be said for being effective inside the red zone and nowhere else, but the Panthers just traded away a player who matches that description.

Patriots got a better grease monkey off the Bengals practice squad. He was even white too, so all the trump voters can love him like they do CMC.

like do you think CMC is the only player out there that does stuff when his number isn't called? Every single other player in the Panthers offense blocks, is part of an offensive scheme, is used to create misdirection, etc.

What you're saying he's doing is literally what every nfl player is expected to do.

Oh he's blocking? He's running his routes?  The amount of poo he gets credit for is indicative of how underwhelming his play has been overall. Next you're going to start talking about how great he is in the film room.

He doesn't draw any extra attention from NFL defenses. This hasn't been true since like week 3. Zod of all people has demonstrated it. Stop saying it. It's dumb.

I think the 45 points and the extra 1 in the W column are the stats that really matter.  Your rookie didn't get the all world fantasy stats but 8 touches and 50 yards with two TDs show he's part of the offense. If those are his numbers each game for the rest of the season I'll take it because it tells me other parts of the offense are clicking.

You might think you're being objective or realistic. But in reality you're just being a dick. You are literally finding the negative or undercutting the positive in any way you can. Your negativity (not your specifically but in general on this board) is why I come to this board basically once a week when I used to be on here everyday. Literally Twitter is more positive than you. Granted this place is still better than Facebook insanity, it's not much better. And even All Pro isn't safe from your incessantly negative viewpoint. You're literally sapping the joy from watching football and sharing that excitement with other fans. Why do you bother? Why do I bother? Fug off.

You are right CMC sucks. Lets bench him.
