Official Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers MNF Gameday Thread

I'm 'bout ready to stab a motherfugger...all this disrespect.  We are currently a playoff team...but when the "experts" are asked to evaluate the NFCS all the want to talk about are the Saints (earned) and the Falcons, who we beat the poo out of. Fug the Falcons, fug the experts, fug the whole damn thing...we are healthy and getting healthier, I think the coaching staff has realized that Cam has to be Cam, the defense is #1 in the league, our rookies are coming along very nicely...

I hope we put a motherfugging 40 burger on this sombithces tonight.

Starting to feel a lot like 2015 again...bring it haters!

I saw the Phins play here way back when Marino was still QB...  Cant remember if we won or lost but I do remember is a Dolphin fan after the game ran up out of nowhere and flat out cold cocked this older gentleman walking right beside me and laid him out flat on the ground...  The Dolphin fan never broke stride and ran off in to the crowd.....   F.U. Dolphin fan that did that !!   Go Panthers !!

    • According to multiple players and staffers in the locker room, some players were asking why Eberflus didn’t call a timeout. Other players got going, too. “Guys were furious,” a staff member said. “It was an accumulation of this season.” “The locker room was ugly,” another staffer said. “There was a lot of yelling.” Said the first player: “We felt as players it’s been too many instances where we fought our way back into games to lose because of bad time management and decision-making.” Multiple sources added that the emotions were so high between the players and their head coach that Eberflus left the locker room immediately after his speech and the exchange with players. There was nothing left to say. It was a moment for this Bears team that would inevitably force chairman George McCaskey into something the franchise had never done before. By Friday morning, Eberflus was out — but not before the team decided to have him address the media over Zoom just after 9 a.m. Two hours later, he was gone. The Bears made it official by sharing statements from general manager Ryan Poles and president/CEO Kevin Warren.
    • You take all this stuff too personally.  Learn to detach. Lol or don't. It's up to you. People don't have the same appreciation or longing for him you seem to have. For me, I just don't understand it. Basically a footnote in Panthers history. Go ahead if you feel he needs it or you need it, but most apparently just don't know why it's such a big deal. Comparing him to guys like kuechly or cam is kind of weak. Those guys made a huge impact on the franchise. Wilks was just a guy we had as a DC a couple times and got him to be an interim. Mildly interesting, but not much more than that as time goes on.
    • @adamjahns   In Detroit, Bears players finally had enough. The locker room was an ugly scene. Players yelled back at their head coach — and he left. The inside story on the final days of Matt Eberflus and where he lost his team.  https://x.com/adamjahns/status/1862848299981541516
