Falcons beating the Cowboys, stadium is empty, no one cares

Looking at the online ticket vendors, tickets for the Tampa game are 120 for nosebleed seats.  I guess they charge so much for vip seating, that they don't really care if the stadium is anywhere close to full.

Is that face value? That's about what nosebleed tickets to see the Patriots cost face value. No one is paying that much to see a trash team like the Falcons.

It was on seatgeek, so probably not. Ticketmaster has some a little cheaper, with fees probably around 90.  That is still quite a bit to pay for nosebleed seats.

IMO, its way to early in the season to start thinking like that.  If we win tonight, we are a half game out.  Can't lose next week, and the Jets is a winnable game for us, while the Saints play Washington (whom they should beat) and the Rams.  The Rams will be a very interesting contest, and could go either way.  We could easily go into our game with them tied for first.  Yes, its tough to win in the dome this year, but not because its a tough place to play.  Its tough because the Saints are a good team.

We have lost three games this year.  In those three losses, we have thrown 8 interceptions.  Three against NO, three against Philly, and two against the bears.   Two games at home and one on the road.  We won at NE (just as tough if not tougher than New Orleans) and at Detroit.  In those games 1 interception combined.   If we can go into New Orleans, and avoid turnovers, we have a very good chance of winning, regardless of where the game is played.

What about this offense gives you confidence that we can put up points against the Saints?

Not that much different from Panthers games. About $10-15 more for nosebleeds in ATL but they do have the super cheap concessions so you probably end up spending less.

I was looking at tickets for tonight's game, just as a comparison.  $45 for the nosebleed.  Of course, that is likely because we are close to gametime and people are trying to dump the tickets that they have.

I wouldn't talk too much poo. You could clearly hear Atlanta chants on tv last week.

IMO, its not really talking crap about the Falcons as much as the NFL in general.  The Cowboys are one of the top draws in the NFL, and historically it hasn't really mattered how good they are.  I would have thought the stadium would be 75% full just because of the opponent.

Yeah I used the Vikings game as comparison since night games are a tough sell to people with jobs, the TB game is on Christmas Eve and GB will always be overpriced and from my experience over the years using ticketmaster, $75-80 is about right for a nosebleed tickets for a normal Panthers game.
