I'm not that big a fan of Lewis or Del Rio but Rivera over John Harbaugh? That is some major homerism

Why do you feel that there is a huge gap between Rivera and Harbaugh? The win percentages between the two coaches are very close .567 and .582 with Harbaugh having three more years of experience as a head coach.

Truth be told their message boards are just as hard on him as we are Rivera.

Framing this in terms of playoff games though, I'll ask a variation of what I asked before.

How many playoff games has Rivera won with Marty Hurney as GM?

Coaching / GM combos are a lot like quarterback / receiver combos. Some work better than others.

This logic explains Bill Belichick perfectly! He is the perfect combo! Only if Qb could throw to themselves!

Haha, im just messing with you.

I think Hurney and Rivera were only together for a season and a half right?

I know Hurney/Fox were together for awhile and had playoff wins. Fox/Elway had a superbowl win. Is Fox the x factor? Is he all world?

Cant agree with the GM/Coach combo

I mean Andy Reid has been through many GMs and still made it to the playoffs with wins.

Well for one, there's this thing called a Super Bowl ring...

This. I'm sure Ron is referring to Armah getting snaps. Worley's role being reduce. Fun taking over 1. Stew reduced snaps. Tyler at center. Dickson at TE. Manhertz massive decline. With the idea of Olsen and Byrd (Possible Kalil) returning.

Lots of changes happening in the last couple of weeks. Belichick said earlier in the season "it takes time for good teams to win" during their slow start. They just got off of the Super Bowl win, by #huddlelogic this guy is an IDIOT... but he isnt.

A dam good breakdown of what we're doing

I was wrong about this. Fox did not win a super bowl - apologies. totally forgot it was Kubiak.

Elway/Fox did not win a Super Bowl. They did get humiliated in one against the Seahawks.  When the Broncos won, it was after parting ways with Fox and hiring an offensive coach, Gary Kubiak.

Hurney/Fox were together for nine  years and only had three successful seasons, two of which came early. Things got worse the longer they were in place except for 2008, where after a good regular season, we got humiliated in our only playoff game since 2005. A big part of it was because Fox refused to adjust his coaching and put Chris Gamble on Larry Fitzgerald.

I re-posted that I made an error on the fox comment. To be fair I don't think anyone could of stopped Larry Fitzgerald that year - matter of fact no one did. That was easily is second best year of his career.

and again your argument was that GM/HC combo of Hurney and Rivera are not a good combo. Which I do not understand what this argument's purpose as I type this out.... In 2017- they are 6-3 and soon to be 7-3 and that works for me.
