Referee Walt Coleman worked the infamous Patriots-Raiders playoff game that introduced the world to the tuck rule. In the Washington Redskins-Carolina Panthers game, Coleman and his crew correctly interpreted another rule that was equally confusing to those watching and, arguably, just as ridiculous.

Once again, FLUKE

Dude, you aren't even making an argument. You're just replying to everything as fast as possible with some filler and then the ending of "A FLUKE!" If you truly wanted to debate this you would read through the posts you are referencing and have an intelligent discussion.

You say "fluke" like it's bad thing...

fluke2  /fluk/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [flook]

–noun

1. an accidental advantage; stroke of good luck: He got the job by a fluke.

2. an accident or chance happening.

3. an accidentally successful stroke, as in billiards.

BUT THAT IS WHAT I AM SAYING. I initially started by saying that it took a fluke to come from behind and beat a team with a bad offensive line (lost both best starters) and had to use Cooley solely as a blocker. A team the panthers had 2 weeks to prepare for, at home, and they still need that fluke of a punt.

Maybe you should slow down and read things so you can actually participate in this discussion.

7. fluke

In Northern Ireland and Ireland (at least), a fluke (pronounced flook) is a verb meaning to win against the odds. It can also be used as a noun meaning something won against the odds or someone who wins that way.

Fluke tends to be a positive appreciation of good luck, rather than a denial of the win. It can be used to playfully reject someone's win though, or to be humble about one's own win.

(In appreciation of someone winning): "Whoa, flukey. Well done!"

You should know this but I will say it anyways. He called it VERY early. That punt was super high and had no chance of a return.

If he called it "VERY" early and had no chance to return it, he should've caught the ball or not let it touch him. How in the hell do you think an on-side kick works? The ball was in play and a Redskin touched it first.
