Yes, I heard it was just a stinger.  I would be surprised if he didn't suit up for Monday night's game.

I have liked what I've seen out of Jarius Byrd so far though, but still would rather have Adams out there

Cam was on the injury report as far back as Dec 11 last year with shoulder injury. Luke was in protocol officially before the game ended so there was nothing to hide. They were quick to correct outside reports he had cleared protocol.

Kalil was odd but he participated fully in practice that week before that occurred. That one does seem to qualify for not listing an injury. But if they don't miss practice there is no requirement to put them on the report right?

His signing caused so much angst among the teens. There is a reason he's made several pro bowls recently. Dude is a professional and has been solid all year.

You think Mike Adams has been good?  Cause he got an interception?  I think he's an easy call for an upgrade next year.  If you want average to below average play at SS than your fine with Mike Adams.  He is essentially a Roman Harper clone.  Solid in the run game, makes you cover your eyes on deep throws down the field.  Kurt Coleman shows flashes of dominant Safety play, on both run and pass plays.  What have you seen from Adams that impresses you i'm just curious?  Calling someone solid is a backhanded compliment meaning you mostly suck, but occasionally i like a play here and there.

I thought Mike Adams was solid before he got any interception.  He seems to always be around the ball and making plays.  He is not the first safety Julio has gotten behind and I doubt he will be the last.  Is he the best safety in the league? no.  But he is solid i.e. he does not suck. 

I have no clue how people expect us to field 11 all-pros on defense in the salary-cap world.  There are 32 teams with roughly the same amount of money competing for the same talent pool.  We have arguably the best defense in the league.  We have 5-6 standouts at their position (Keuchly, Short, Star, Bradberry, Coleman, Addison) which is incredible.  The rest of the guys just need to be solid.

Having said that, I suspect we will be looking for a safety in the draft next year in the first 3 rounds.  Adams is nearing the end of his career.
