The Saints haven't beaten anyone argument is silly when the team you're a fan of is one of the one's they've beaten (soundly), and you think they're a good team.

Had the Panthers had Greg Olsen and played to their full potential that day, it would have been a much closer game. Aside from that, no you haven’t really beaten anyone of consequence.

The Saints played without their best corner, their #2 receiver, and both starting tackles. Acting is if they were playing their best ball is foolish.

Granted. So let’s see what happens in a few weeks when both teams field something closer to their full team playing its best ball.

That aside, I still think y’all are in for a rough 2nd half of the season. Time will tell

eh tbf the offense was rolling on that first drive until matt kalil became matt kalil. cam's shoulder was also still healing up, which was pretty big.

shula didn't adjust, and thus we lost. not to mention we lost KB, whom was most likely a big part of the gameplan which adapting on the fly is tough.

that being said, our defense had an abnormal day against you guys. uncharacteristicly, our linebackers kept missing gaps and making your runningbacks wreck havoc. even luke kuechly didn't do too well. sean peyton had a really nice gameplan.

i'd read more here if you're interested in learning why:

i doubt that works again tbh.

at this point, our defense is far more settled and thus far proved that Saints game was not the norm. our offense is still in question, but so far the direction is trending up. if our o-line holds up and more of this happens, watch out.

Does anyone else feel with the low depth on our team were one injury away from returning to our misery?

Even at WR. Imagine Funchess gone.

Brenton Bersin and Shepard? Basically anyone on defense goes down and were hurt big time.

Send this guy to the pit of misery. Dilly Dilly!!!

Saca, you're my boy and all, but you could shine a turd into a diamond when it comes to the Panthers.

Reality is, the Saints lined up and beat the Panthers. I keep hearing that the offense wasn't playing well, but here's a newsflash, it still isn't. You're averaging 290 yards and 13 points over the last 3. And the defense only plays well against bad offenses. The Saints scored 34, Pats scored 30, Lions 24, and Eagles 28. The secondary is exploitable, in a huge way.
