Fire Shula Banner.....the reason why

So, here is a question for the deep thinking quick draw McGraw fan base

Most of you think Cam and the offense would be better with a new OC.  Rivera does not think so, the players do not think so, just the all knowing, all seeing, banner buying, steeped in football history, fan base.

Here is the question.  Do any of you think Shula would be a better OC with a different set of offensive players?  Cam included.

Why do you think this? Because of what Greg told the media? You really think Greg or any other player is stupid enough to go ripping the OC through the media? Greg is smart enough to know that even if he would like a better coach it's much better to defend through the press and keep everything smooth within the organization than cause it to become a distraction and a problem. I don't know what the players think, it's possible they like Shula, possible they don't. But I wouldn't try to make a claim that they think one way or another. And obviously there will be conflicting opinions within the locker room.

I think Shula looks like a halfway competent OC because of Cam and others.

So, no.

But I think that when everyone is clicking Shula has what it takes (2015) to run a dangerous offense. Lots of moving pieces and I don't think everything always lands on him.

Greg offered his opinion that the fan base was off, way off.

He did not have to say anything

He was asked about it and Greg is extremely polished with the media. What else would he say?

Yes, I can tell that Olsen hates the OC and is just fooling the media.  At least you guys "know" what he is really thinking.

"I've think we've shown around here that we've been a very good offense, so I think a lot of that is the typical overreaction to bad games," Greg Olsenicon-article-link.gif said Monday. "That's the easy way out, that's the easy critique for people who watching from a distance don't really have an idea of what's going on. That's the easy solution to everybody who doesn't have much knowledge of what we're actually doing, so I think that's careless."

If you take that as a dig, to be fair, Olsen was also talking about himself.

"I'm watching as a spectator like everybody is right now. I just think it's a slippery slope (when) everyone has their solutions when you really have no idea – and I'm putting myself in that same boat," said Olsen, who's been out the past month with a broken right foot.

"I haven't been part of a game plan and meetings, so it's hard for me to sit up there and say, 'This should’ve' and 'that should’ve.' I don't know either, and I know a lot more about this offense than everybody else in the bleachers."

But in his educated opinion, what's going wrong with an offense that as of Monday morning ranks 19th in total yards and 22nd in points per game?

"Watching the tape, knowing what our offense is and what we're trying to get done, we have to play better. We have to stop making mistakes. We have to make plays that are there. We have to block better, run better. It sounds cliché and simple, but that's really what it is," Olsen said.

Quote from my initial response to you:

Greg said a whole lot of nothing and it doesn't indicate anything. That's all I'm saying. We have no clue what the players think about Shula and even if Greg loves him he doesn't speak for the rest of the players. You saying that the players liking Shula in the post I initially responded to was a ridiculous defense of Shula.
