Fire Shula Banner.....the reason why

What did people think was going to happen? Imagine this scenario:

Sunday, November 5th - Bank of America Stadium, 12:53 - 2nd Quarter

       - Per usual, to get the crowd pumped up, the stadium cameras pan in on JR sitting in his box.

       - JR, who usually has a cold, heartless mask on, is sitting there with a shocked look on his face staring up into the sky. He's even pointing with his left hand.

       - Immediately following the game, the news breaks that Shula has been fired.

       - JR actually decides to answer questions following the breaking news. When asked why it happened, he proceeds to draw a square on a piece of paper. He holds it up and simply says, "I saw the banner..."

       - Mission accomplished. Now watch this drive.

Could never have been during the game. It would have been before the game when people were drinking beers and tailgating.  It was dumb all the way around.  Pilot should have taken that 1700 bucks and lit it on fire. Would have been just as productive as this dumb idea.

Honestly it's probably the opposite of morals. He definitely got paid off by the Panthers to not do it. A few thousand dollars to a mutli-billion dollar organization is nothing to stop even the slightest amount of negative press. No doubt the team has someone monitor this forum as well as the Panthers reddit where the plan was posted.

Then fug that pilot and his lack of ethics!

Takeaway:  Sometimes you can't even buy free speech.

Except that whole internet thing that's been circulating the story to more people than would see 100 banners in the sky. Social media fuels actual changes in the world. Sky banners are for seafood buffets in myrtle beach.
