Add me to the crow eating list... I thought keeping Palardy over Lee was stupid, but Palardy has been every bit the weapon for us Lee was last year before he got hurt.  Being left footed is a plus, too.  Returners aren't used to the spin and seem more hesitant and prone to call for fair catches which has helped our coverage units.

In fact, ST teams overall has quietly been very good this year.

It really has. Coverage has been great for both KOS and Punts, Returning has actually provided a little bit of room for our returners to work with along with fewer fair catches, and with no Teddy Williams we aren't getting flagged every time we return the ball.

I's say we're at least average in Special teams, which is a far cry from being horrible in years past.

The most important part,  like I alluded to before the season and in another thread,  is that he can be our long term solution at the position.

The Lee people kept overlooking that he may not be in the game in five years,  much less 10. Plus, he does have injury issues. Palardy has no such issues, is relatively young, and can still grow at the position. Getting rid of him would have made someone look crazy.
