Ok, I'll eat my crow on this one. Thought it was stupid to keep him over a proven pro bowl punter in Lee. Got off to a rough start, but he has been BOOMING 50+ every time lately. He's also getting better at pinning them inside their own redzone too. Just showing him some love!

I'm impressed. He seems to be reaaaally good. Improved a lot in comparison to last season in my opinion.

Palardy is the Left footed truth. 

I'm content with him as our punter for a long time. 

He's honestly been great.

Saw some great stats on how well he's doing today... Forget where, but will find and post.

In my opinion, he could be a valid candidate for NFC ST Player of the week...

But got to give love & appreciation to our coverage team too.  Hugely improved!

Palardy has come a long, long way.

When he was a sophomore at UT we used to joke that we needed to widen the uprights to the width of the field in order for him to have a shot at making a FG. He worked on his mechanics during the offseason between his junior and senior year and somehow overnight became one of the better kickers in recent UT history. He once told me in a class I had with him that the key to his becoming better was as simple as the angle to which he approached the ball. I'm surprised we didn't just use him as Gano insurance instead of signing Aguayo.

Dude has always had a cannon of a leg... just needed refinement.

And yes, our coverage team has been money all season. Been very impressed with them. Just wish our blocking was better though. Seems at least 3 or 4 people are always running free to our returner. But yes, big upgrade from years past.
