Not even close you cut Bersin but it doesn't mean he's not appreciated.

And I was happy with his play yesterday as well.  I, too, have never understood the hate other than him fielding punts, which he was forced into doing without any prior experience. 

I'll give him the benefit here and say that the official may have been focusing on who recovered the ball on the off chance that it ended up being called a fumble after a review and that he was going to signal a TD either way.

You're probably right.  I just know how the Panthers, and Cam in particular, have fared on calls, reviews, and challenges that would otherwise appear to be obiously in their favor.  Just glad it didn't come down to that in this case.
