CMC won't get rookie of the year stats over Kareem Hunt and Fournette because of the headstart. 

It would have been a moot point if Deshaun Watson didn't get hurt. 

 

Just be happy we got some success and that we continue to improve towards the playoff.  The fact that he is a weapon is undeniable.

Oh I know that he wont get it, but I will sure hype his name up for Panthers purposes.

Seems like Kareem has slowed down a little bit. Getting Olsen and Byrd back will open things up even more for our offense. Now with Watson out of the picture, it's wide open for CMC to challenge Hunt and Fournette down the stretch.

He doesn't have to win Rookie of the Year (and he won't) to not be a bust. Kareem Hunt is leading the league in rushing; he might win it unanimously even with Fournette looking very good as well.

I think like yesterday if you move more to a spread attack and force defenders to cover the deep bay he can run both. Samuel and Funchess made ATL commit more to coverage and that loosened the run game.

Don't forget A. Kamara on that list. It causes great discomfort naming a player from Aints and is nauseating..

If he continues to grow in this offense.  I think he would really need a couple of spectacular plays to give him some media coverage.  I would like to see him break a 70-75 yd run off.  That will impress the crowd.

OROY would be an impressive award if he surpassed Hunt and Fournette.

Bingo... which makes me think that the Panthers are the one that shut the banner down.... so Shula had a "Prove It" game

Maybe but losing KB did work. It also worked because ATL can't just commit a LB to McCaffrey. So it's a difficult game when you have Samuel, Cam, and McCaffrey on the field. That all changes when you trot out Stewart. We become one dimensional and teams know it's a run on first down. Stewart is effective just not on first down.

CMC has some major obstacles to pass for OROTY. Even with Hunt coming back down to Earth, he still leads all RBs in yards and broken tackles. Then you have Leonard Fournette who has been an absolute beast, and then you start to add Kamara in the mix as well. CMC will have to explode big time in the 2nd half of the season to have a chance.

Regardless though, CMC is legit and looks to be hitting his stride. Wish he would just start already. God knows this offense flows better with him in the game.
