This season is over......................

Ok, for those not paying attention. We are the Carolina Panthers. Our style of football throughout the John Fox era does not lead to a lot of blow outs. We play lots of football games like today. Luck played a part in our game like it plays a part in everyones game. We shut them out the second half and scored 18 unanswered points. The "we didn't win by enough" is just unrealistic for our style of play. Starting 0-3 doesn't lead to many playoff runs. But winning a game is a start. There are no style points added for big wins.

No PSL club ticket holder since inception. This team is a mediocre club and the moves they have made puts this franchise in the box for several years. Todays win was against another mediocre team. Glad to see the heart, and the hard work but this is no playoff caliber team.

I attend win or lose. The Fox kool aid has taken its run. Richardson needs to make a change, the new Foxism needs to be "Enough is enough".[/QUOTE]

Great line.

some of you people are ridiculous. look, no panthers fan in his or her right mind is happy with how the season has started. it's been bad, and even embarrassing, at times. but, damn it, we are only 4 games into the season, a whole lot of football to go. name me one team that has won a superbowl after 4 games.

some of you have looked negatively at this win today because it was washington, but it's a step in the right direction. for christ's sake, the panthers overcame a 17-2 deficit midway through the 3rd quarter. this team, after the delhomme int, could've packed it in. jake delhomme, after throwing another pick, could've had a woe is me attitude. but, the panthers dug in deep and pulled out a gritty, hard fought victory. and, even though many of you (like to op) wrote this game (and season, in his case) off before it was over, they showed that they are not ready to give up, they overcame their mistakes and won the damn game. that's something they can build on going forward. with the next 2 very winnable games, carolina could be sitting at 3-3, giving themselves a puncher's chance the 2nd half of the season.
